The education term in MIREA is 5 years and 6 months.
Academic year structure : two semesters (5 months each) starting in September and February. Admission requirements for foreign students: in order to prepare for admission to the university people from foreign countries could be admitted to the preliminary course. The pre-education term of study is 10 months. Those who finish this course successfully will be admitted without entering exams. There are entering exams in Russian language. The subjects are:

- Mathematics (in writing)
- Russian (in writing)
Application of documents for admission is until August 30-th.
Language Of Training: Russian.
